EKKO_Project

Sensors & Software Inc. announces the release of EKKO_Project – the new, umbrella PC based software solution for easy and efficient analysis of GPR data.

EKKO_Project features unique managing of GPR line data and ancillary data, enhanced viewing of file attributes and the biggest benefit – use of a single file to store all information in a GPR project. All GPR data, GPS, topography, photos, notes etc. are housed in a single Project (.GPZ) file that can be added to throughout your project lifetime. No more lost or missing files!!

EKKO_Project can be enhanced with the optional Interpretation and Processing Modules. The Interpretation Module enables users to select targets, layers or add labels and identifiers on GPR lines. The integrated database provides storage of interpretations plus the ability to output interpretations in tabulated reports. The Processing Module provides a range of common GPR signal processing and analysis tools such as migration, time and spatial filtering and attribute creation.

EKKO_Project and the full EKKO_Project Suite, which contains all optional Modules, operates with Windows 7 and represents the next generation of the EKKO_View family and EKKO_Interp Windows-based PC software products.

For existing software owners, affordable upgrade paths are available EKKO_Project is the all-inclusive software solution for managing, displaying, processing and interpreting Sensors & Software GPR data. It provides easy, highly efficient analysis and integration of GPR data. This new software package is optimized for Windows 7 and later programs.

EKKO_Project works with project (GPZ) files. An embedded database structure allows all GPR data and ancillary files (GPS, topography, photos, notes, etc.) to be housed in a single .gpz file for a specific project. A project file could be a single GPR section or several hundred lines from a complex survey. Any available project information can be added to the .gpz file. EKKO_Project consists of a base program with two optional modules.

EKKO_Project consists of a base program with two optional modules.

1. The Base package provides file organization, overview and display:

  • GPR lines can be grouped into line sets and grid data
  • Legacy DT1 and HD files are easily imported into EKKO_Project
  • All file attributes are immediately visible
  • Ancillary data can be attached to individual GPR data files, line sets or grids
  • A LineView module opens GPR files for viewing cross-sections - viewing parameters such as gain, color
  • palettes and axes can be changed and images can be exported in a number of graphic formats
  • A reporting function outputs files in a CSV format, listing fiducials and interpretations that are easily imported by GIS and CAD software

2. The (Optional)Interpretation Module works within the LineView module:

  • Users can interactively add localized targets, layers, labels and identifiers on the LineView cross-sections
  • All interpretations are stored in the database
  • All spatial information is integrated with records stored within the databas

3. The (Optional) Processing Module provides a range of common GPR signal processing and analysis tools:

  • Migration, time and spatial filtering and attribute creation
  • Frequently-used processing recipes can be built, stored and re-used
  • Processing can be applied to a single GPR data set, a selected group or all data sets with ease
  • Processing can be reversed with a single click

For users of EKKO_View, EKKO_View Deluxe and EKKO_Interp, EKKO_Project represents the evolution to the next generation integrated software solution:

  • The base EKKO_Project delivers enhancements like file organization and GPS integration to EKKO_View
  • Adding the Processing Module to EKKO_Project delivers a new, advanced version of EKKO_View
  • The Interpretation Module provides all the functionality of EKKO_Interp along with the reporting and file management of EKKO_Project

The complete EKKO_Project Suite with both Interpretation and Processing Modules represents a new realm of GPR data analysis.

For existing software owners, an affordable upgrade path is available. Contact your sales agent or representative for upgrade incentives.
